Your Google Business Profile is what shows up when people search for your business on Google Search and Maps. Below are instructions to create or claim your listing if it isn't set up yet, plus how to add our team as a manager.
Already have a Google Business Profile? Skip ahead to “Add Us as a Manager” below.
Setting Up Your Google Business Profile From Scratch
- Go to google.com/business and sign in with a Google account (create a free Gmail account first if needed)
- Search for your business name to make sure it isn't already listed. If it is, select it and follow the prompts to claim it instead of creating a new one
- If it isn't listed, click “Add your business” and enter your business name and category
- Choose whether customers can visit your location in person, and enter your business address if applicable
- Add your service area, phone number, and website
- Follow the verification steps Google provides. This is usually a postcard, phone call, video, or email, depending on your business. If you've already set up Google Search Console, verification could be instant.
Add Us as a Manager
- Go to business.google.com and sign in
- Select your business, then click “Business Profile settings”
- Click “People and access”
- Click “Add”
- Enter our email address: [email protected]
- Choose the role “Manager”
- Click “Invite.” We'll need to accept the invitation on our end before we officially have access
Note: only Owners (not Managers) can add new users. If you're not sure whether you're the Owner,
check under “People and access.”
